The artist has left a narrow white border around the painting that will appear inside the matte.

The painting will be shipped with one matte (Outer Matte), white or off-white, included in the price.  If you wish to select a second (Inner Matte) color, at an additional charge, the artist has suggested several compatible color choices and will match your choice of color to the painting.
